QUALIFICATIONS
TAKE THREE
At Seren Arts, students work towards graded examinations through Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. These industry-recognised qualifications contribute toward university entrance requirements through the UCAS admissions system in the UK - similar in principle to how Advanced Placement (AP) courses strengthen US college applications.
THESE QUALIFICATIONS:
Combine singing, dance and acting
Are mapped to the UK Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF)
Provide a clear progression pathway
STUDENTS MAY BE ASSESSED THROUGH:
Group performance
Individual grading
TYPICAL PROGRESSION:
Level 1: Typically from age 8 onwards
Level 3: Typically from age 16 onwards
At Seren Arts we have made a deliberate decision to move away from traditional UK exam boards such as LAMDA and ABRSM where disciplines are assessed in isolation to the more modern integrated approach with Mountview that assesses students as a triple threat complete performer.
